The cinema

A few minutes’ walk from KUST is Bio 3:an with three auditoriums where we offer cinema seating and fantastic control over acoustics, image, and sound. We can offer a total of 338 conference seats, of which 66 are in the smallest and 166 in the largest.

Coffee, lunch, and dinner are eaten at KUST.

About the auditoriums

Saga

Saga is our largest auditorium with its 166 seats, including 2 wheelchair spaces. Here you sit comfortably in chairs with high backs and cup holders. The auditorium is equipped with a first-class sound system consisting of a sound processor from Dolby and speakers from JBL. Together, these provide a fantastic sound experience with 7.1 surround sound! The image in Saga also offers a first-class experience, equipped with a digital Barco projector with 4K resolution. In Saga, we have the ability to show films in 3D.

Röda Kvarn

Röda Kvarn is our medium auditorium and currently has 106 seats, including 2 wheelchair spaces. Röda Kvarn also provides a sound experience beyond the ordinary. Like Saga, the auditorium has a sound processor from Dolby and speakers from JBL that provide a first-class sound experience with 7.1 surround sound. In Röda Kvarn, there is a digital Barco projector with 2K resolution. Röda Kvarn also has the ability to show films in 3D.

Metropol

Our smallest, Metropol, has 40 seats, including 2 wheelchair spaces. The auditorium is equipped with a sound system from Yamaha, and like the other auditoriums, Metropol also has first-class surround speakers from JBL. In Metropol, there is a digital Barco 20C projector with 2K resolution.
