During the weekend “Something’s Happening” in Piteå, we have a visit from Åsa Jonsson from the incredibly popular Instagram account @helt.orimligt.
In this lecture, she’ll take the audience on a personal and inspiring journey where dialect, origin, and pride take center stage. With humor, warmth, and Arjeplog dialect, she talks about daring to stand firm in your origins, about highlighting the dialect as a strength, and about challenging prejudices surrounding the simplified concept of “Norrland.” The lecture offers laughs, recognition, and important reflections on identity, culture, and the courage to be oneself.
