Emil Åräng has been called both Sweden’s and Scandinavia’s best bartender. He has opened award-winning bars, written books, developed some of the country’s most talked-about bar concepts, and made Swedish drinking culture his signature.
Today, he runs Facit Bar in Umeå, a bar focusing on Swedish ingredients and flavors from our own long country. Through his lectures, books, and social media, he has inspired thousands of people to discover that Swedish spirits are much more fun than many think.

Now he visits Bar-Bar and KUST for an evening that is equal parts lecture, tasting, and entertainment.

The journey begins at Bar-Bar and then continues through KUST. Along the way, you will discover five Swedish spirits, from gin and whisky to punch, liqueur, and aquavit. Five different spirits. Five unique drinks. Five stops through the house.

Between glasses, Emil shares stories, knowledge, humor, and anecdotes from a life behind the bar. Expect an evening filled with good drinks, unexpected stories, and an atmosphere that is as relaxed as it is entertaining. We warn you of really good drinks and a humor that hits the ceiling!

With the accommodation package, you complete the experience. After the event, a three-course dinner awaits you at Restaurant Tage, followed by a relaxing overnight stay at KUST. The next morning, you wake up to our generous breakfast buffet.
