High Coast Distillery has quickly established itself as one of Sweden’s most acclaimed whisky producers. Now they are taking their award-winning whisky on tour and making an exclusive stop with us at KUST.

 

In the heart of Ådalen, whisky is created with the help of icy-cold water from the Ångerman River, large temperature variations, and a northern patience where quality always comes before speed. The result is a whisky that has received attention far beyond Sweden’s borders.

For about 1.5 hours, Peter Söderlind guides us through the world of High Coast Distillery. Together we will taste five carefully selected types of whisky and share in the stories, craftsmanship, and passion behind every glass.

For whisky lovers, this is a unique opportunity to get close to one of Sweden’s most noted distilleries. For the curious, it is an evening filled with new flavors, inspiration, and pleasant company.

 

Make the evening an all-encompassing experience

Choose between booking only the whisky tasting or experience the evening as part of our accommodation package.

In the accommodation package, first comes the whisky tasting together with High Coast Distillery. Afterwards, a three-course dinner is served at Restaurant Tage before the evening concludes with a comfortable overnight stay at KUST. The next morning, we present our generous breakfast buffet.

 

For dinner, “Tages Tre Goda” is served

STARTER | Lobster and Langoustine Soup
Soup from lobster and langoustine shells, charred broccoli florets, truffle aioli, garlic-fried croutons, and Arctic char mousseline.

MAIN COURSE | Pepper Steak
150g grilled dry-aged beef fillet seasoned with our own pepper mix. Served with your choice of potatoes and pepper sauce.

DESSERT | Chocolate Cake
Chocolate cake with milk sorbet made from mountain cow milk from Vuollerim, roasted marcona almonds, and caramel sauce.
