EMIL ÅRENG

Swedish spirits journey

More than just a tasting!

Emil Åräng has been called both Sweden’s and Scandinavia’s best bartender. He has opened award-winning bars, written books, developed some of the country’s most talked-about bar concepts, and made Swedish beverage culture his hallmark.

Today he runs Facit Bar in Umeå, a bar focused on Swedish ingredients and flavors from our own elongated country. Through his lectures, books, and social media, he has inspired thousands of people to discover that Swedish spirits are much more fun than many people think.

Now he visits Bar-Bar and KUST for an evening that is equally a lecture, tasting, and entertainment.

The journey starts at Bar-Bar and then continues through KUST. Along the way, you will discover five Swedish spirits, from gin and whisky to punsch, liqueur, and aquavit. Five different spirits. Five unique drinks. Five stops throughout the house.

Between the glasses, Emil shares stories, knowledge, humor, and anecdotes from a life behind the bar. Expect an evening filled with good drinks, unexpected stories, and an atmosphere that is as relaxed as it is entertaining. We warn you about really good drinks and humor that hits the roof!
